Peddapalli: National Thermal Power Corporation (Ramagundam & Telangana) celebrated World Water Day. On the occasion, a series of events aimed at promoting water conservation and awareness were conducted.
Executive Director, NTPC (R&T), Chandan Kumar Samanta inaugurated the event.
On the occasion, Chief Scientist and Technical Consultant at the Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) Dr N Raveendhar delivered an enlightening awareness talk.
He spoke on the “Significance of Water and the Importance of World Water Day,” emphasising the need for sustainable water management and conservation practices.
As part of the celebrations, an online suggestion writing competition on water conservation, open to employees of NTPC R&T, CISF personnel, spouses of employees and contractual workers were conducted.
General Manager (O&M) Ramagundam Alok K Tripathi, GM (O&M) Telangana AR Dash and GM (Operations) KC Singha Roy participated in the inaugural session.
