Peddapalli: Singareni got permission to run Godavarikhani sector-3 school with CBSE syllabus from this academic year. In this regard, the Central Board of Secondary Education issued orders by sanctioning CBSE school to Singareni on Saturday.
In order to improve education standards in singareni schools, SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Balram has decided to introduce CBSE syllabus in Sector-3 school, Eight Incline colony, Ramagundam-II area and approached CBSE last year.
Besides well qualified teaching faculty, spacious classrooms, labs, playground and other facilities are developed in the school. After examining all the facilities, CBSE gave permission.
Out of nine schools being run by the company across the Singareni, the management has selected Sector-3 school to introduce CBSE syllabus and developed the school by spending Rs 5 crore.
Besides digital boards in each classroom, digital teaching facilities, modern science lab, library, washrooms, ropeway facility for physically challenged students were developed.
Students studying Class I to VIII will be taught lessons in CBSE syllabus while Class IX and X students would be continued in state syllabus.
Teachers were also given special training to teach lessons in CBSE syllabus.
