Medak: Two passengers died and at least 11 others sustained serious injuries after a DCM van hit a private travel bus on the NH-161 at Kolapally in Pedda Shankarampet mandal in the early hours of Thursday.
The bus was heading towards Tulja Bhavani Temple in Maharashtra from Srisailam. The deceased were Narayanamma (50) and Surapamma (60).
The condition of several of the injured passengers is said to be critical. They were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
