Mancherial: Three persons were arrested for allegedly poaching a pangolin, a critically endangered wild animal, at Sabbepalli on Thursday.
Around four kilograms of meat and scales of the wild animal were seized from their possession.
Luxettipet Forest Range Officer A Subhash said Chakepalli Sathaiah, Chakapealli Venkatesh of Teekanapalli and Ravula Laxman of Dharmaram were apprehended for hunting the wild animal.
A case was registered under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
