TikTok star Megha Thakur passes away at 21 in Canada
Canadian TikTok star Megha Thakur passed away on November 24. She was 21-years-old. The reason behind her death is not known and according to her parents, she died “suddenly and unexpectedly”. Her parents announced the grim news in an Instagram post from her account.
Megha Thakur always promoted body positivity through her posts on TikTok. She had over 930k followers on the app. In the Instagram post, her parents decribed her as a confident and independent young woman. As per the post, Thakur passed away in the early hours of November 24. A funeral service was also held on Novmeber 29.
“It is with heavy hearts we announce the light of our life, our kind, caring, and beautiful daughter, Megha Thakur, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on November 24, 2022 in the early morning hours. Megha was a confident and independent young woman. She will be dearly missed. She loved her fans and would have wanted you to know of her passing. At this time, we request your blessings for Megha. Your thoughts and prayers will be with her in her onward journey,” reads the caption of the post.
Megha’s fans and followers were absolutely shocked to hear the news and expressed their condolences.
Megha Thakur was born on July 17, 2001.
