Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (HNEW), along with the Tolichowki police on Wednesday caught two persons for allegedly drug peddling. The police seized 11 grams of MDMA, two mobile phones and a two-wheeler from them.
The arrested are Mohd Imran alias Shukoor (31) and Shaik Basheer Ahmed (32).
According to the police, Imran and Basheer have a previous criminal history, including drug peddling in the city and were arrested before. “Imran purchased the drugs from a source in Bengaluru and, through Basheer, was supplying them to consumers and earning illegal profits,” said Y V S Sudheendra, DCP HNEW.
On a tip-off, the HNEW team caught Imran and Basheer.
