Trap 10 Muslim girls if you lose 1 Hindu: Pramod Muthalik tells youths, assures them security, jobs
Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik has called upon young Hindu men to lure Muslim girls as a response to ‘love jihad’ and assured them security and employment.
Speaking at a public event in Karnataka’s Bagalkote, Muthalik said, “We are aware of the situation. I would like to invite the youth here. If we lose one Hindu girl, we should trap 10 Muslim girls. If you do so, Sri Ram Sena will take responsibility for you and provide every kind of security and employment.”
“Our girls are exploited in love jihad. Across the country, thousands of girls are cheated in the name of love. We should warn them,” he pointed out.
A week ago, Muthalik, who is tipped to contest the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections from the Karkala segment in Udupi, said so far, 109 cases had been registered against him and most of them were during BJP rule. He faced more obstacles from his own people for his stand on Hindutva, he claimed.
Muthalik added that he had the support of some BJP leaders who had offered him financial help to contest the elections. He also ruled out withdrawing his decision to fight the poll.
The Sene chief said though he does not know how to play politics, his views have always been clear. “If I had supported BJP’s fake Hindutva, I would have achieved many things by now,” he underlined.
Expressing confidence that he would win the Karkala seat, he said as an independent candidate, he was receiving support from various sections of people.
Muthalik said the Sene is fighting for real Hindutva and against corruption in the state. The present Karkala MLA is indulging in corrupt activities, he alleged, adding that the extent of corruption in the constituency can be figured out if the wealth amassed by the MLA is calculated.
State Minister for Kannada and Culture V Sunil Kumar currently represents the Karkala constituency.
