Hyderabad: As announced earlier, devotees furnishing the recommendation letters from Telangana public representatives (MLAs and MPs) will be allowed for VIP darshan from Monday i.e, March 24.
The move comes into effect amid instructions from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The devotees will receive recommendation letters on Sunday, March 23, in this regard, according to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam officials.
The TTD also announced that VIP break darshans are cancelled on March 25 and 30 in the view of Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam and Ugadi (Telugu New Year) on the respective days. Owing to this, temple authorities say, no recommendation letters will be accepted on March 24 and also on March 29 for VIP darshan.
Earlier recommendation letters from Andhra public representatives for VIP darshan on Monday were issued on Sunday. However, TTD has clarified that henceforth devotees will receive those letters from Saturday for darshan on Sunday.
