Fire breaks out at a property in Kapparla village; damage assessed to be worth Rs 10 lakh
Adilabad: Two minivans and a cowshed were burnt, while another minivan got partially damaged when a fire broke out at Kapparla village in Thamsi mandal on Wednesday. The property damage was assessed to be worth over Rs 10 lakh.
Adilabad in-charge fire officer and leading fireman T Sunganna said two vans and a cowshed were reduced to ashes, while another van was partially damaged when the fire broke out around 2 pm allegedly due to carelessness.
The property belonged to Gandra Krishna Kumar, Abhilash and Praveen Kumar. A fire engine from Adilabad was summoned and the flames were doused.
Sunganna, firemen Pridhviraj, Shashidhar Reddy, Siddheswar, driver Srinivas took part in the firefighting operation.
