Hyderabad: Two fire mishaps were reported in the city one each at Rajendranagar and Secunderabad on Friday. No casualties were reported, however property was damaged.

Officials suspect a short circuit could have led to the fire. Local residents noticed the fire and alerted the fire department and police.
A fire engine was rushed to the spot and it took about two hours to douse the fire. The store was full of cloth material, due to which thick smoke engulfed the surrounding areas, triggering panic among the residents.
Officials said the cost of the property damaged is suspected to be around Rs 5 lakh. The Rajendranagar police are investigating.
In another incident, fire broke out in a pan shop near Taj Tristar in Secunderabad. No casualties were reported.
The fire department officials reached the spot and doused the flames immediately. A lamp lit inside the shop on Thursday night is suspected to have led to the fire.
The Mahankali police are investigating.
