Two students arrested for performing stunts in cars on ORR stretch near Shamshabad

Hyderabad: Two students were arrested by the RGI Airport police for performing stunts in cars on the Outer Ring Road Shamshabad on February 9 early hours.

The arrested are Mohammed Obaidullah Ansari (25), a resident of Rajendranagar and Zohair Siddiqui (25), a resident of Malakpet on February 9 went on the ORR Shamshabad and were doing stunts in two different cars.

The act was captured on the closed circuit cameras installed on the ORR stretch and a special team of the RGI Airport police traced the cars and after identifying the drivers caught them.

The video had gone viral on social media platforms and it raised safety concerns among the motorists. Following the public outcry the police registered a case and nabbed the two persons. The vehicles were also seized.
