
Jadhav Sai Chaitanya, hailing from remote Palsi (B) Thanda in Thalamadugu mandal, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from IIIT-Tiruchirapalli
Adilabad: Jadhav Sai Chaitanya, a tribal youngster, was felicitated by Collector Rajarshi Shah for securing a rank in Civil Services Examination held by UPSC, in Adilabad on Sunday.
Hailing from remote Palsi (B) Thanda in Thalamadugu mandal, Chaitanya failed in four attempts to realise his dream of becoming an IAS officer. He missed his target again by a whisker as he was selected as an IFS officer in his fifth bid. However, he cracked the CSE in his sixth attempt by achieving 68th rank, bringing recognition to his parents and the district.
An alumnus of the Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV)-Kagaznagar, Jadhav graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology-Tiruchirapalli before appearing for the UPSC civils. His father Govind Rao is a head constable, while mother is a teacher.
