Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri join Kartik Aaryan for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ shoot
Vidya Balan is quite thrilled and excited about beginning her next adventure, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ with Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri. The actor shared a video from the upcoming film’s mahurat ceremony. Directed by Anees Bazmee, Vidya Balan will reprise her role as Manjulika.
After the phenomenal success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan started shooting for the sequel on March 9. Vidya shared a video to announce the same on Monday. Alongside the video, she expressed her excitement in the caption.
She wrote, “Super thrilled to kickstart this spooky yet hilarious journey of #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 with the super talented @kartikaaryan and @tripti_dimri , the visionary @aneesbazmee and the man who made this all possible #BhushanKumar! Can’t wait for #Diwali2024 (sic).”
Anees Bazmee is directing the project. The film is touted to be bigger than ever with OG Manjulika aka Vidya Balan returning to the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise after garnering critical appreciation for her performance in the 2007 film, starring Akshay Kumar.
Before the official announcement, IndiaToday.in exclusively shared, “The makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ raises the bar for the audience as well. The film will see Vidya Balan return as Manjulika after the first film. Vidya was offered the part, and she was really kicked about getting into the character of Manjulika once again.”
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ will reportedly release on Diwali 2024.
