Hyderabad: Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film Kannappa is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film has already created a strong buzz with its star cast.
However, the team is now facing an unexpected problem. Important footage from the film has gone missing. According to reports, a VFX company in Mumbai sent a hard drive to the production office. It was first received by a man named Raghu, who later handed it over to a woman named Charita. Since then, Charita has gone missing, and the footage cannot be found.

Despite the issue, the film’s promotions and other work are continuing as planned. Kannappa is a Telugu-language mythological drama set for a worldwide release on June 27, 2025. The film stars Manchu Vishnu as Kannappa (also known as Tinnadu), Prabhas as Rudra, Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva, Kajal Aggarwal as Parvathy Devi, Mohan Babu as Mahadeva Shastri, Mohanlal as Kirata, Madhoo (Madhubala) as Pannaga and Brahmanandam as Pilaka, among other well-known actors.
Kannappa will be available in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and English.
