Viveka murder: CBI court sends Bhaskar Reddy to 14-day judicial custody

ANANTAPUR: A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Hyderabad sent Y.S. Bhaskar Reddy to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the murder of former MP Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy. Bhaskar was later shifted to Chanchalguda jail.
Though Bhaskar Reddy’s counsel informed about the former’s health condition, the court ruled out the plea and made it clear the Chanchalguda jail also has an effective medical facility.
Along with the remand report, CBI had also filed a custody petition for Bhaskar Reddy for two days. The CBI counsel gave notice to Bhaskar Reddy’s defence counsel Nagarjuna Reddy and the hearing on the custody petition will be conducted in the CBI court on Monday morning.
