Watch: Congress government caught peddling BRS-era visuals as its own in new publicity campaign

The government launched a publicity blitz promoting “development” in the education sector. However, the footage used in these video advertisements was filmed for a similar campaign in 2023 during the BRS rule

Hyderabad: In a telling display of desperation, the Congress government has been caught peddling old visuals from the BRS regime as its achievements in its latest publicity campaign on the education sector.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s attempts to take credit for the work done by former Chief Minister and BRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao, have now backfired.

Despite failing to show any significant progress in the last 15 months, the Congress government recently launched a publicity blitz, promoting supposed “development” in the education sector, especially girls’ residential welfare schools and colleges.

However, the footage used in these video advertisements was actually filmed for a similar campaign in 2023 during the BRS tenure.

In an embarrassing oversight, even Chandrashekhar Rao’s photo was inadvertently left visible in one of the visuals which was quickly cut to another visual – a glaring testament to the Congress’s lack of real accomplishments and attempts to take credit for the achievements in the previous BRS rule.

With a video comparing both advertisements going viral on social media, netizens slammed Congress for shamelessly claiming credit for other’s work.

The BRS, on its X handle, ridiculed the Congress’s attempts to thrive on false narratives and reliance on manipulated propaganda, rather than real governance.
