Floodwater from the Musi River entered Hyderabad’s MGBS bus station on Saturday night, leaving several passengers stranded. Authorities released water from Osmansagar and Himayatsagar, causing inundation in Bandlaguda Jagir colonies. DRF and SDRF teams carried out rescue and relief operations.

HYDERABAD: Several passengers were stranded at the MGBS Gowliguda on Saturday night as the bus station was flooded following rise in water level of Musi River.

The HMWSSB authorities had opened gates of the Osmansagar and Himayatsagar following inflows and released water into the two reservoirs.
