Watch: Revenue dept officials initiate collecting details of houses on Musi river bed in Hyderabad

Split into five units and assisted by the police personnel, they have taken up the survey and marking of these dwelling units in Kishan Bagh, Asad Baba Nagar and Nandimusalai Guda areas.

Hyderabad: The officials from the revenue department on Thursday initiated the process of collecting details of the houses located in the river bed of Musi and marking them in Bahadurpura constituency of the old city.

Split into five units and assisted by the police personnel, they have taken up the survey and marking of these dwelling units in Kishan Bagh, Asad Baba Nagar and Nandimusalai Guda areas. About 386 houses are said to be coming in the Musi river bed.

The mandal revenue officials and staff of Bahadurpura mandal are collecting details of families living in the dwelling units in the river bed.

While the five teams are conducting the survey under Bahadurpura Tehsildar Chandrasekhar Goud, four other Tehsildars are also participating in the exercise. Bahadurpura police have made heavy security arrangements to prevent any untoward incident.
