Hyderabad: In yet another case of murder over an extramarital affair, a man was allegedly killed by his wife and her paramour in their house at Kandukur in Rangareddy district on Saturday.
The victim, K Praveen, a private employee, was married to Prameela and the couple has two children. The family stays at Dannaram in Kandukur.
As per available information, Prameela was having an extra-marital affair with one Kumar from the same neighbourhood for the past few years. The couple had frequent fights over the same matter for the past few days.
Hence, she plotted to kill her husband to continue the affair with paramour. As per their plan on Friday midnight, the duo strangled Praveen to death in the house. However, they staged a drama before the villagers and claimed that Praveen was upset over financial problems and hanged himself.
Praveen’s parents and relatives who grew suspicious over his death and the movements of Prameela, lodged a complaint with the police.
The Kandukur police booked a case and detained the duo, who confessed to the killing during interrogation. The cops have arrested the suspects but are yet to confirm arrests.
