In Mancherial, 35-year-old Madhyarla Pushpapalatha died after her saree got caught in the wheel of a motorcycle on Godavari high-level bridge near Indaram village. She suffered severe head injuries. Her husband had died of COVID-19; she is survived by three children.
Mancherial: A woman was killed when her saree got entangled in the wheel of a motorcycle on which she was travelling at the high-level bridge across the Godavari near Indaram village in Jaipur mandal on Sunday night.
Police said Madhyarla Pushpapalatha, 35, from Vemanapalli mandal centre, suffered severe head injuries after she fell from the motorcycle when her saree was caught in the wheel of the two-wheeler. Her husband Venkanna had earlier died of Covid-19.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
