WWE legend The Rock laughing off a ‘brutal broken finger’ is still absolutely mental to watch
The video, originally an Instagram post from 2015, shows The Rock on the set of his then-upcoming film Central Intelligence.
He states: “I just stepped off set, my director Rawson Thurbur just ran up to me, we had a little accident. He said to me, ‘are you bleeding?’ I said bleed?”
The former WWE star then pans down to a seemingly badly broken finger before laughing and saying: “I ain’t got time to bleed. Alright, let’s pop the son of a b**** back in.”
It was later revealed that the “finger” was a prosthetic one that Johnson had to wear in order to film a scene for Central Intelligence.
At the time, many fans took Johnson seriously, prompting a rep from New Line to clarify to Variety that the video was a joke and that Johnson was unharmed.
Now, the video has resurfaced on YouTube. Posted with the caption: “The toughest man on the planet,” the clip had gained over 173,000 likes.
