Hyderabad: A local court on Thursday sentenced a youth to one year rigourous imprisonment in the sexual harassment case of a minor girl reported in Chaitanyapuri in 2020.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on him.
K Dinesh (23), a private employee from Kothapet had stalked and harassed the minor girl in the name of love. Based on a complaint, the Chaitanyapuri police booked a case and arrested Dinesh.
The court also ordered a compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim.
