Hyderabad: Under-fire YouTuber and comedian Samay Raina has announced on Wednesday that he has removed all the episodes of the ‘India’s Got Latent’ from his channel.
Making the announcement in an Instagram story, Samay said that the controversy surrounding the series is “too much to handle”.
A huge row had erupted when a video clip from one of the episodes of the show went viral on social media. The viral clip has Samay’s fellow YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, popular for his channel Beer Biceps, asking “Would you rather watch your parents having sex or join in once to stop it forever.”
The comments led to huge backlash and it even reached the Parliament, with several cases being registered against the members of the show and the judges including Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Makhija and Ashish Chanchalani.
“Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you, (sic)” Samay wrote in his Instagram story.
