Zindagi bhar bahut hasaaya Raju Bhai tumne! Akshay Kumar pays last respect to comedian
Popular comedian Raju Srivastava is no more. He breathed his last on September 21 at AIIMS, Delhi. Many celebrities took to social media to remember their beloved Gajodhar Bhaiya. Akshay Kumar also paid his last respect to Raju.

Akshay Kumar shared a picture of Raju Srivastava and wrote, “Zindagi bhar bahut hasaya Raju bhai tumne…Bhagwaan se prarthana hai ki aapki aatma ko sadgati mile (All your life you made us laugh Raju Bhai. I pray to God that your soul rests in peace).”

Raju Srivastava’s family members – his wife Shikha, son Ayushman and daughter Antara – are currently at AIIMS. The family has decided that the cremation will be held in Delhi. Raju will be cremated on September 22 at 9.30 am. Earlier, they were contemplating taking Raju to Mumbai or Kanpur.
No medical bulletin was released by AIIMS. Most likely, Raju Srivastava’s mortal remains will be handed over to family by 1 pm, embalming process is being decided. The comedian’s body will taken to Dashratpuri near Dwarka today. Raju’s younger brother Dipu Srivastav and elder brother CP Srivastav will reach AIIMS by evening.
Raju Srivastava was a popular comedian. He has been a part of several comedy shows. Srivastava was a part of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, Shaktimaan and others. The comedian also featured in Bollywood films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Tezaab, Baazigar and more. He was recently seen as a special guest on India’s Laughter Champion.
