WCIT in Hyderabad in February: KTR


Hyderabad, Jan.11 (NSS): World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) will be conducted on a grand scale here from February 19 to 21, IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said.

Talking to media persons after a crucial meeting with Nascom and WCIT officials here, the minister extended thanks to them for selecting Hyderabad for the prestigious international event. He said that the government will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the international Tech Summit in the city.

Hyderabad is an international city with a good number of IT giants, businesses and companies and making rapid strides he said. He extended thanks to Nascom and WCIT on behalf of Telangana Government for the big event. We will conduct the Tech Summit on a grand scale he said.

About 2500 delegates including 500 from Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Nigeria, South Africa, Taiwan Armenia and other nations will be attending the WCIT conference he said. KTR also said that the government will make the best arrangements for the program to make it a grand success.

The summit will have Nascom leadership award and include noted IT experts, giants and top level leaders on the single platform. (NSS)
