New Delhi, Feb 13 (UNI) With the aim of catering ‘daily health needs’ digitally, Max Bupa on Tuesday announced its digitally enabled new Health Insurance Plan ‘GoActive’.
“The GoActive is a holistic health insurance plan that has been designed to give customers 360 degree coverage for their daily health needs including inpatient hospitalization and on-the-go access to OPD, diagnostics, personalized health coaching, second medical opinion, behavioral coaching and much more,” said Max Bupa MD & CEO Ashish Mehrotra.
He adds that 80 per cent people do not have insurance policies and our aim is to target those left out segment with a network at 4500 places. With 1 in 5 Indians being plagued by lifestyle diseases, health insurance is not an option anymore. Over 60% of healthcare expenses in the country are still out of pocket and self-funded by customers.
The insurance company has collaborated with three Startups?Practo, GOQii and 1mg. The three health-tech providers would provide digitally enabled ecosystem and offer all these service to its customers.
On this occasion Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant was also present and stressed on creating more state-of-art- primary health care units as large number of people are still below poverty line and need medical access.
Sport icon Sania Mirza also graced the occasion and was offered the ‘GoActive’ health insurance plan.
