Bommai files his nomination in the presence of JP Nadda, Sudeep, Minister Govind Karjo
Haveri: BJP President JP Nadda launched a scathing attack on the Congress party during a speech in Shiggaon on Wednesday, urging voters to choose BJP for peace and development in the state. He addressed the people before Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai filed his nomination at Shiggavi.
“Congress means Commission, Congress means corruption and Congress means Criminalization. The Congress leader is like a person who handles ATMs. ATM means Automatic Transfer of Money. If they win, the money which comes from the Modi government to the state will be transferred to Delhi. Do you need such a government? If the money that Modiji sends to Karnataka should be utilized here then people should vote for BJP,” he said.
“The enthusiasm (Josh) I see here today says that you have decided to ensure the victory of Basavaraj Bommai and send him to the Assembly. If you want the Ganga of development to flow throughout Karnataka then vote for the Lotus symbol. The election issue is who can ensure the continuity of the development in Karnataka. Ensure the victory of Lotus and continue the development works here,” he added.
Nadda also talked about the development works carried out in the state during BJP’s rule, saying that Karnataka is a topper in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and this should continue with BJP in power.
“Do you feel PFI should have been banned or not? The Congress government had withdrawn their cases in the past. Under the Bommai government criminal activities have stopped and criminals are in prison,” he said.
Nadda concluded by stating that peace and development can be achieved only under the BJP government.
