VHP, Bajrang Dal take out yatras in Godavari districts

KAKINADA: On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal took out huge processions in erstwhile East and West Godavari districts on Sunday.
The Hanuman Shobhayamana Yatras had been organised at Kakinada, Pithapuram, Gollaprolu, Annavaram, Tuni, Amalapuram, Rajamahendravaram and other places. Processionists raised Jai Shri Ram and Jai Hanuman slogans.
All the Hanuman temples in the two districts witnessed crowds of devotees, who performed special poojas to Lord Anjaneya with betel leaves and Sindhura.
The devotees recited Hanuman Chalisa on the occasion.
