A 40-year-old auto driver was arrested in Rajendranagar for allegedly sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl. Alerted by bystanders, police swiftly responded. The accused has been remanded to judicial custody, and the child is receiving necessary medical and emotional support.
Hyderabad: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Rajendranagar.
The suspect, Mohd Hameed (40), an auto-rickshaw driver from Budvel in Rajendranagar, allegedly lured the girl with eatables and took her in his auto to a secluded spot and raped her on Tuesday.
As per available information, at that time, some youths who were clicking pictures at a nearby spot, noticed the act and alerted the local police.
Based on a complaint from the girl’s family, the Rajendranagar police booked a case and arrested Hameed and remanded him in judicial custody.
