Quantumania’s Kang is proof Marvel still can’t get villains right
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania served as a particularly strong reminder of one of Marvel’s biggest problems. It doesn’t matter what you think of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or superhero movies in general, there’s one thing everyone can probably agree on — even if they don’t realize it yet. Marvel has a real problem doing justice to its villains, and that problem isn’t getting any better. And this time, we thought, was going to be different. All of the Quantumania ads were more about Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) than Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) himself. On top of that, Kang isn’t just any old hyped villain. He’s one with a long future in the MCU ahead of him, and a Marvel history that began the beloved Loki finale. He’s also played by Jonathan Majors, whose star is on the rise. But, of course, to explain this, we need to dive through spoilers for Ant-Man & The…

Keanu Reeves: It was the hardest physical role
Hollywood star Keanu Reeves is well known for performing his own stunts, which is why he spent nearly three months training for the fourth instalment of the John Wick franchise. Each instalment of the Lionsgate-backed action franchise is known for upping the ante, and the case is no different for Chapter 4. “It has been about 12 weeks of training. It’s new levels of action,” Reeves said in an interview, and added, “[Doing]nun-chucks was challenging. John Wick’s action asks just a little bit more and you see the effort and the commitment from the team.” According to Reeves, the most challenging was a car stunt in which his character races around the historic Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Reeves had to learn how to do a reverse 180 and drift all while reloading his prop gun and shooting it out of the door. “For Chapter 4, we wanted to bring the muscle…

Hugh told Sky News: “It’s so hard to be a teenager, and I think particularly with the pandemic, I think it’s incredibly difficult. “There’s social media, all these things that are so different than what we grew up with. It was hard for me growing up as a teenager – it’s a really difficult time for any kid, I think – but I would say right now it’s the hardest it’s ever been … that’s my sense of it. “And yet, having said that, I think there’s real hope, I feel that the younger generation, those teenagers are much more open about talking about things. They’re much more fluid and less judgemental about…

The 30-year-old singer-and-actress – who, with 382 million followers, has broken the record set by Kylie Jenner in January 2022 – has decided to step away from “everything”, hinting she is tired of online drama after fans tried to stoke up a row between her and the ‘Kardashians’ star. J.K. Rowling “doesn’t care” if her controversial comments impact her “legacy”. The ‘Harry Potter’ author, 57, has been accused of transphobia for a series of comments but has now insisted she isn’t bothered that her legacy will be tarnished because anyone who cares about their legacy is “pompous” in her eyes. Speaking on the first episode of her new podcast ‘The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling’, she insisted: “I do not walk around my house thinking about my legacy. © Provided by Bang Showbiz You know, what a pompous way to live your life walking around thinking, ‘What will my legacy be?’ Whatever, I’ll be dead. “I care about now.
