Hyderabad Metro to launch new trains to accommodate increasing crowd

Hyderabad: DGE extends last date for paying Class X exams fee under Tatkal scheme
A late fee of Rs 1,000 will be charged under the scheme Hyderabad: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) on Wednesday extended the last date for paying the Class X exams fee under Tatkal scheme up to January 22. A late fee of Rs 1,000 will be charged under the scheme. This extension is applicable to regular and private (once failed) candidates who wish to appear for the SSC Public Exams scheduled for March. This is the last chance for payment of Class X exams fee and due dates will not be extended under any circumstances, the DGE said, adding that only candidates who appear for Class X exams in March will be eligible to sit for the advanced supplementary exams.

Based on a complaint from her father, the Gandhinagar police booked a case and are investigating. Hyderabad: A young woman who went missing from her house at Bhoiguda in Gandhinagar on Monday, was yet to be traced on Tuesday. The 20-year-old, who is studying degree at a private college, is suspected to have been upset after her parents scolded her for spending long hours with the mobile phone and on calls. She left the house saying she was going to meet a friend, but did not return. Anxious parents searched around for her and approached the police.
