      8 new Covid cases in Telangana on Dec 26

      Hyderabad: Eight new Covid positive cases have been reported in Telangana on Tuesday, taking the overall number of active infections to 59, according to the Covid health bulletin issued here. In the last 24-hours, the authorities conducted 1,333 tests and four individuals have recovered. All the eight new Covid infections that were reported on Tuesday were from Hyderabad. The Covid test results of 30 samples from patients were waited, the bulletin added.

      Hyderabad: A five-mont-old child died after attacked by a pack of stray dogs at Shaikpet. The victim Sharath was residing with his parents Anusha and G Anji in Vinobhanagar, Shaikpet.       Major fire breaks out at Ankura Hospital in Hyderabad’s Gudimalkapur

      Hyderabad: A fire broke out at Ankura hospital building located at Gudimalkapur near Mehdipatnam on Saturday evening. No casualties were reported in the incident.       Crime rate in Cyberabad increases by 7 per cent in 2023

      Hyderabad: The crime rate in Cyberabad increased by around 7 per cent in the year-2023 and officials attribute it to the population growth in the area. A total 29156 cases were registered in 2023, as compared to 27322 the previous year. Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Avinash Mohanty said there is an increase in economic offences and cybercrimes while the conventional crimes have come down. “There is a shift from the conventional crimes to economic offences and cybercrime due to various reasons.       Four major airlines grounded at Hyderabad Airport, Centre reveals

      Hyderabad: Four airplanes, including one from Indigo, one from SpiceJet, and two from Go Air, are currently grounded at Hyderabad Airport, according to an announcement by the government on Thursday. In a written response to Lok Sabha, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia disclosed that a total of 164 aircraft are presently inactive at 15 airports across the country. The highest number of grounded planes is reported at Delhi Airport with 64, followed by Bengaluru (27), Mumbai (24), and Chennai (20). The airports affected include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa (Mopa), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Juhu, Kolkata, Kannur, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Raipur. Various airlines are affected by this situation, including IndiGo, SpiceJet, Go First, Air India, Zoom Air, and Alliance Air.
