‘Telangana to become hub for EV manufacturing in India’

YS Sharmila Arrested For ‘Assaulting’ Cops In Hyderabad, She Says They ‘Behaved Rudely’
YSR Telangana Party president Y S Sharmila was on Monday arrested by police here for allegedly assaulting police personnel following an altercation with them outside her residence here, police said. Based on a complaint by police personnel, a case was registered against Sharmila in which she was accused of assaulting one sub-inspector, ramming her vehicle on a police constable and causing him a leg injury, and also abusing police officials. Health minister T. Harish Rao inaugurated the state’s first day care chemotherapy centre in Siddipet. HYDERABAD: Health minister T. Harish Rao inaugurated the state’s first daycare chemotherapy centre in Siddipet. The government plans to establish similar facilities in eight medical colleges and all 33 districts. The Siddipet Centre has four beds and issues 60 types of medicines supplied by MNJ Cancer Hospital. Patients referred by MNJ and Nims hospitals can access chemotherapy services. With 468 cases of various types of cancer in Siddipet, the government was working to take measures to prevent cancer. Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd (FIT) has proposed to acquire 186.7 acres at Kongara Kalan, Ibrahimpatnam mandal, Hyderabad Hyderabad: Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturer Foxconn s expediting its plans for Telangana and has proposed to acquire about 186 acres in the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation’s (TSIIC) Park at Kongara Kalan for a staggering Rs.196 crore. Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd (FIT), through its wholly–owned subsidiary Chang Yi Interconnect Technology (India) Private Limited, has proposed to acquire 186.7 acres at Kongara Kalan, Ibrahimpatnam mandal, Hyderabad.
