Chandrashekhar Rao, who inspected the Yadadri Ultra Mega Thermal Power Plant (YTPP) on Monday, stated that the Telangana government had not caved in to pressure from private companies or corporate groups while prioritising the interests of Telangana farmers and people when undertaking gigantic power projects. HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court on Monday issued conditional permission to the BJP for conducting its Praja Sangrama Yatra and public meeting in Nirmal district. Telangana Govt to spend Rs 17,700 crore for Dalit Bandhu this year

Hyderabad: For the socio economic empowerment of the Dalit community, the State government will be extending the Dalit Bandhu scheme to 2.82 lakh eligible beneficiaries during the 2022-23 financial year. Till November 20 this year, more than 31,000 eligible families have benefited from the scheme in the State. So far, the State government has released Rs.3,100 crore in 2021-22 and is spending another Rs.17,700 crore for implementation of the scheme across the State this year. About 100 eligible persons each from 118 Assembly constituencies received a grant of Rs 10 lakh under the scheme in 2021-22. BJP moves court for permission for Bandi Sanjay’s yatra

Hyderabad: The BJP has approached the High Court against the denial of permission to the party state chief Bandi Sanjay‘s fifth phase Praja Sangrama Yatra and public meeting in Bhainsa town on Monday. The court is expected to hear BJP’s petition in the afternoon.
