Telangana: Protesting High Court Bar association to submit representation to CJI
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court Bar Association continued its strike on Friday protesting the Supreme Court collegium’s recommendations to transfer Justice A Abhishek Reddy to Patna. The Bar Association has also decided to submit a representation to Chief Justice of India Justice DY Chandrachud appealing for withdrawal of the collegium’s recommendations to transfer Justice Abhishek Reddy. The representation would also be submitted to union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju and union Secretaries, said Association president V Raghunath. Meanwhile, in addition to the advocates in the High Court, those in all the District Courts, had also boycotted their duties as part of the indefinite strike. KTR urges tech companies to expand their operations to tier-2 cities
Hyderabad: The State government has invested heavily in plug and play infrastructure in tier-2 cities such as Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Adilabad, and the companies should expand their operations to the tier-2 cities, said IT and MA&UD Minister, KT Rama Rao. Telangana govt issues order for distribution of health kits to girl students
Hyderabad: The State government has accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs 69.52 crore towards procurement and distribution of Adolescent Health Kits to girl students studying in classes 8 to Intermediate 2nd year, in government schools and government colleges. As per this, a total of 33 lakh sanitary health and hygiene kits would be provided to the girl students by the government. This measure would benefit around 11 lakh girl students of classes 8 to Intermediate 2 year. For the six months left this financial year, a total of 11 lakh kits comprising a zipper bag, sanitary napkins (6 packs) and a water bottle are to be procured for distribution among girl students. Hyderabad-based Natco Pharma appeal rejected in US court
Hyderabad City-based Natco Pharma said that the Appeals Court in the US has rejected its marketing partner Alvogen’s appeal on Ibrutinib tablets. These are proposed generic equivalents to Imbruvica tablets made Pharmacyclics LLC. It is indicated in the treatment of cancer.
