65% Hyderabadis hesitate to ask for consent in relationship: Tinder survey

A recent survey by dating app Tinder has revealed that the majority of young adults in Hyderabad are ignorant about the importance of taking the consent of their partner with whom they are in a relationship. To promote the importance of taking consent and discourage taking unilateral decisions, Tinder has relaunched its ‘Let’s Talk Consent’ initiative for safe dating. Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on September 17 will inaugurate Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan and Sevalal Banjara buildings in the city. The Sevalal Banjara Building was constructed at a cost of Rs 24.43 crore, whereas Komaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan cost Rs 24.68 crore to build. The construction of these buildings began in 2016–17. Hyderabad: Overcoming all odds, a 22-year-old girl from Hyderabad, Bhagyalakshmi Vaishnav, has won silver in the international world classic powerlifting championship being held in Turkey. Bhagyalakshmi comes from a poor family where the father works in a plywood shop and the mother is a homemaker who is also a cancer survivor. She lost her brother to blood cancer in 2015. Hyderabad: Eight people died when a massive fire started near an electric scooter parked in the electric vehicle showroom and spread within seconds in Secunderabad late Monday night. The horrific incident was captured on CCTV footage. According to visuals, smoke emanated from an electric scooter and gradually spread around the vehicle. Mumbai: Knight Frank India, the leading international property consultant in the country, in its latest report ‘Think India, Think Retail 2022 – Reinventing Indian Shopping Malls’ cited that Hyderabad recorded 7.2 mn sqft of gross leasable area (GLA) as of H1 2022 comprising a share of 7.7% of the country’s (top eight Indian cities) total mall stock with 52% of the city’s mall classified as Grade A.
