      Haj pilgrimage amount reduced from Rs 4.11 lakh to Rs 3.05 lakh

      Telangana state Haj Committee chairman Mohammad Saleem and executive officer B. Shafiullah inspected the Haj terminal at the Shamshabad airport on Tuesday, ahead of the departure of pilgrims on June 7.  HYDERABAD: Giving relief to Haj pilgrims, the cost of the pilgrimage has been reduced from Rs 4.11 lakh to Rs 3.05,173, according to the Union ministry of minority affairs. It is estimated that around 8,000 pilgrims from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra will be embarking from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) here from June 7.
