Fire broke out in the bottom of one of the wagons of the goods train carrying coal, at Kolanoor railway station Peddapalli: Fire broke out in a stationary goods train at Kolanoor railway station on Friday evening. The goods train carrying coal had halted at Kolanoor railway station awaiting signal. Coal caught fire in the bottom of one of the wagons. Telangana: Khammam court sentences man to 20-year jail in POCSO case
Mangodi Papa Rao, a resident of Kothuru, sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl on August 13, 2023 Khammam: FTC-II Khammam judge K Umadevi on Friday sentenced a 30-year-old man, Mangodi Papa Rao, to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 in a POCSO case. The accused, a resident of Kothuru, sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl on August 13, 2023. The same day, Sathupally police registered a case under the POCSO Act after the girl’s parents filed a complaint and a charge sheet was filed in the court.
