Finance firm manager killed in Mancherial hit-and-run accident
Bolishetti Srinivas, a 39-year-old finance firm manager, died on the spot after a speeding unidentified vehicle hit his two-wheeler in Gudipet village, Hajipur mandal. A hit-and-run case has been registered, and police are investigating the incident. Telangana: Medak bankers fall short of credit target; new lending goal set at Rs 6,517 crore
Collector directs bankers to be prepared to extend loans to unemployed youth under Rajiv Yuva Vikasa scheme during current fiscal Medak: Bankers in Medak district achieved only 74.55 per cent of the lending target set by the district administration for 2024–25 fiscal. District Collector Rahul Raj, who unveiled the Annual Credit Plan for the 2025–26 financial year, also announced the previous year’s achievements. Bankers had extended Rs 1,603 crore for the agriculture sector against the target of Rs 2,267 crore, achieving just 70 per cent of the goal.
