50% of Indian mobile users wish to upgrade to new device in 5G era
About 50 per cent of smartphone users in India plan to buy a new device within the first year as 5G roll-out begins, a report has said. India has more than 500 million smartphone users to date. The price band of Rs 20,000-Rs 30,000 is the most preferred price band for the future smartphone purchases in the country, according to Counterpoint Research. India’s smartphone market ASP (average selling price) is expected to rise because consumers tend to prefer a higher price band for every subsequent purchase. San Francisco: The microblogging site Twitter has announced it is introducing a new look for its icons used across the social network. The company’s “Twitter Design” account tweeted two tweets from the thread so that people could see what’s changed. Reliance Jio 5G is here. As announced two months back, the telecom operator on Saturday has finally launched the new-age high-speed services in the country. Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani has launched the services in Rajasthan from the famous Shrinathji temple in Rajsamand.
