First faculty development program of HYSEA concludes

A total of 71 learners have completed their training in AI and ML, Full Stack Development, and Digital Transformation. Faculty from 23 academic institutions across Telangana participated in the program

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) on Thursday announced successful completion of the first cohort of its faculty development and enrichment program, Project Drona, an initiative aimed to equip faculty with cutting-edge skills in emerging technologies.

A total of 71 learners have completed their training in AI and ML, Full Stack Development, and Digital Transformation. Faculty from 23 academic institutions across Telangana participated in the program.

The HYSEA through its various training initiative has committee to skilling 10,000 students and 1,000 faculty by 2026, Prashanth Nandella, president, HYSEA said.

The project Drona focused on AI-enabled, industry-centric courses driven by real-world use cases.

“Our next cohort will focus on Gen AI and Blockchain technology. In a survey conducted with the learners, 50 percent of the faculty indicated that their learnings from project Drona resulted in either fetching a new job, promotion or an increment,” Sairam Vedam, CMO, Cigniti Technologies, Chief of Program, Project Drona, said.
