Hyderabad: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCII) will organise its first Industrial Innovation and Technology Expo (Iitex) from June 28 to 30 to put on show the latest technology and innovations that could boost production.

Addressing a press conference at the Federation House, Anil Agarwal, FTCII president, said the maiden expo would have 150 stalls and the chambers expected 80,000 persons to attend it.

Supported by the Union ministry of MSME, the state government and the TS State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, the expo would aim to connect MSMEs with the latest technology and research and development and provide them with an opportunity for B2B connect across India and abroad as well as promote indigenisation and support to the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Agarwal said the endeavour would be to provide a platform for start-ups to showcase their expertise and competence in this area of specialisation.

The relationship between Industrial Innovation and Technology is very unique and intertwined, explained Anil Agarwal. “Society constantly looks for innovative and improved products, which are possible through new processes developed by the industrial sector. We cannot bring innovation to any industry without technology. Without the use of technology, we cannot make innovation in any industry. It will be our endeavour to involve all regional chambers from across India. Each Chamber can have its own pavilion. It will also be a unique platform for all the regional chambers to merge and at one single platform and collaborate for better future prospects for all associated with those chambers,” he stated.
