Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Two persons, including a government teacher, were arrested for allegedly hunting nilgai in the forests of Lodpalli on Friday.
Four other accused persons are absconding.
In a statement, forest officials said Chapide Venkatesh from Kondapalli and Durgam Ravinder, a government teacher working with a primary school at Meraguda, were apprehended for their role in killing of the animal.
Athram Ravi and Gorlapelli Mondi from Kondapalli, Manepalli Srihari and Athram Bheemaiah of Yelluru were still at large.
FSO Shankar, FBOs Sangadeep, Sathish, Lachanna and Manohar, animal trackers Srikanth and Venkatesh took part in the operation.
