KCR Unveils Official Logo For 10th TS Formation Day Fete

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao unveiled the official logo in the Secretariat, which reflects Telangana’s existence and the progress achieved in the last one decade.

HYDERABAD: As the state government has decided to organise the Telangana state’s 10th Formation Day celebrations on a grand scale for 21 days from June 2, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Monday unveiled the official logo in the Secretariat, which reflects Telangana’s existence and the progress achieved in the last one decade.

The remarkable achievements of the state government such as irrigation projects like Kaleshwaram, uninterrupted power supply, agriculture, Mission Bhagiratha, cultural and spiritual shrines like Yadadri, Hyderabad Metro Rail, T-Hub, Dr B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat and 125-foot-tall Ambedkar statue have all been incorporated in the official logo, prepared by the state government as per the directions of the Chief Minister.

Apart from this, the logo has been designed to enhance the state’s reputation with Telangana Talli, Bathukamma, Bonalu, Palapitta (state bird) and the newly-constructed Martyrs Memorial.

The Chief  Minister directed the officials to organise the 21-day celebrations amid a festive atmosphere. He instructed them to organise programmes to showcase the achievements accomplished by the state government in every field, with the active participation of the people right from the village-level.

Rao said that the opening ceremony will be held at the new Secretariat on June 2.

The first decade of Telangana Formation Day is a great occasion in the state’s history. Telangana, which was once subjected to insults, misconceptions and ridicule, is now emerging in an envious vibrant avatar. The state registered progress in every sector, including electricity, agriculture and irrigation water and has emerged as a role-model for the country, he said.
