Cinnamon and turmeric are two condiments that have different uses. While cinnamon might be used in sweet preparations, desserts, and cakes, turmeric is used more in savory dishes such as meat, chicken, and soups.

Both are excellent for health and can be taken together. Turmeric has a substance called curcumin, which is a powerful antioxidant studied in the prevention of neurological diseases and even cancer. Cinnamon, on the other hand, carries antioxidants, acting against premature aging and free radicals and is known for its anti-inflammatory action.

Both turmeric and cinnamon are said to help reduce inflammation and cinnamon is said to reduce or control blood sugar levels however, none of these effects seem to be clinically significant especially in the quantities you consume these in.
