Revanth is crying because he can’t be CM, says Bandi.

HYDERABAD: A day after TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy broke down in tears while taking a pledge at the Bhagyalakshmi temple on Saturday denying Huzurabad BJP MLA Etala Rajendar’s allegations, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar remarked on Sunday that the Congress leader was actually crying because he realised that he had no chance of becoming CM.

Denying Rajendar’s allegations under oath at the Bhagyalakshmi temple on Saturday, Revanth Reddy had demanded that the BJP MLA unconditionally retract the allegation that the Congress had received 25 crores from the BRS during the November 3 Munugode bypoll. He had stated that he was the only person who had opposed Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for nine years.

After paying homage to the Lord Basaveshwara statue at Tank Bund on Sunday with Rajender, Sanjay asked, “What is wrong with Etala’s remark? I’ve been saying this for a while, and the Congress leaders are openly talking about it.”

Sanjay remarked mockingly, “Yes, he is sad, but for what? He wants to be the CM, but he now realises that his dream will not be fulfilled because an alliance between the Congress and the BRS is on the horizon.”

Sanjay asked whether it was not true that the BRS was funding the Congress campaign in Karnataka.

“Everyone understands that any vote for the Congress is a vote for the BRS. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Jana Reddy are openly discussing a possible coalition with the BRS. Mallikarjun Kharge in an interview said that the Congress would be sailing with the BRS. What does Revanth have to say about this,” Sanjay asked.

Concerning the PCC chief’s pledge, Sanjay stated that the BJP should be given the credit for Revanth Reddy’s visit to the Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar.

“The BJP’s objective of bringing every politician to the Bhagyalakshmi temple has been achieved,” he remarked.

Further, the TS BJP president slammed MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi for reportedly speaking in support of the slain UP gangster Atiq Ahmed and his son. “Atiq Ahmed and his son had killed police officers and looted the poor people.

It is shameful for MIM leaders to speak out in support of such gangsters and pay tributes to them,” he remarked while asking the people if they supported politicians who backed terror elements.
