Saif Ali Khan To Play Villain In Jr NTR And Janhvi Kapoor’s NTR 30, Begin Shooting Soon
Jr NTR’s highly anticipated film NTR 30 continues to make headlines. After including Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor to enhance the film’s pan-India film, the makers have now reportedly roped in Saif Ali Khan too.
While there were reports of Saif Ali Khan refusing the film, the latest buzz is that the actor is now on board to feature in NTR 30. The shoot of the film is officially underway now and Saif Ali Khan will be joining the rest of the cast soon.
According to reports, Saif Ali Khan has already been signed on for NTR 30 and is likely to join the shoot for the film in its third schedule. The actor, who garnered immense praise for his performance as antagonist in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, will once again be seen playing the villain in this upcoming film.
NTR 30 is reportedly set on a huge budget and will be released in multiple languages. Starring Jr NTR in the lead role, the film will feature the actor in a double role.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the plot of NTR 30 is said to be revolving around the life of an estranged fishing community and how they are saved from dacoits and mafia by a powerful man from the community.
Janhvi Kapoor, who will be making her South Indian film debut with NTR 30 spoke about her excitement for the film at the Muhuratam ceremony of the film. “Literally counting down the days (to the film’s shoot). I message the director (Koratala Siva) every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I recently re-watched RRR. The magnitude of charisma that he has. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life,” the Bollywood star said at the event.
NTR 30 will have a pan-India release in 2024.
