Telangana: Rajiv Swagruha properties in 10 districts to be auctioned on Nov 14
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rajiv Swagruha Corporation Limited (TRSCL) will auction 19 of its properties on November 14 in 10 districts. The notification regarding the same would be issued on October 11. The authorities will conduct auctions in physical and e-action modes. The process is being carried out by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) which are conducting e-auctions as government agencies. District collectors have been tasked with conducting physical auctions across the districts. Plots, houses, and commercial plots will be auctioned in Adilabad, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Khammam, and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts. Hyderabad: A 28-year-old Hyderabad woman Asra Fatima who went to Dubai after she was offered a maid job is currently stuck in the UAE. Her aunt has knocked at the doors of MEA for her rescue. Hyderabad: 79 lakh rupees hawala amount seized, 4 held in old city
Hyderabad: The Chandrayangutta police on Saturday seized seventy nine lakh rupees Hawala amount and arrested four persons. Salman Mallik,Imran Mallik both scrap dealers along with Thamma Venkateswar Reddy and E.Shekar were apprehended by police at MBNR X roads. A police party of Chandrayangutta police spotted two cars stopped by the roadside at Mahboob Nagar X roads, and some persons were exchanging bags under suspicious circumstances. 4.37 kg gold seized at Hyderabad airport
Hyderabad: Customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here seized 4.37 kg gold in three separate cases on Saturday. In the first case, the officials intercepted three female passengers, who arrived from Dubai. The passengers were trying to smuggle the gold by concealing it in undergarments in paste form and in 24 karat chains. The seized gold weighed about 3.28 kg, valued at Rs 1.72 crore. In another case, the Customs officials intercepted two male passengers who arrived from Kuwait. Two gold bars, buttons and some jewellery concealed inside their check-in baggage was seized. Cyberabad cops book cases against pubs for violations
The Cyberabad Special Operations Team officials inspected 22 pubs and booked cases against three of them for various violations late on Friday night. Eight persons too were held. Pubs at Madhapur, Gachibowli, Raidurgam were inspected and officials found violations including nuisance by keeping sound on high volume beyond permitted time. Hyderabad: Traffic advisory issued for Sunday in view of Milad-Un-Nabi processions
In view of Milad-Un-Nabi processions to be taken out at various places in the city on Sunday, all flyovers, except Begumpet flyover, Langar Houz flyover, Dabeerpura flyover, Lalapet flyover and PVNR Expressway, will be closed between 8 am to 6 pm. The Hyderabad Traffic Police have also placed certain traffic restrictions. Intermittent rains continue to hit Telangana, more in store
Intermittent rains occurred at several areas across the State on Friday. Due to rains since last a few days, there were considerable inflows into many water tanks and streams were overflowing at a few places. With overnight rains continuing in Mahabubnagar, the district police urged people, especially the aged and children to remain indoors. Top woman Maoist leader surrenders before Telangana police
A top Maoist leader and Divisional Committee Member of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), Aluri Usha Rani alias Vijayakka alias Pochakka alias Bhanu Didi (53), surrendered before the Telangana police in the presence of Director General of Police, M.Mahender Reddy on Saturday.
