Hyderabad Metro Rail to extend services till 11 pm from October 10
Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL), NVS Reddy on Friday has announced that service hours of the metro rail will be extended from Monday, October 10, 2022. “The last metro rail will leave at 11 pm from respective terminal stations while starting the daily services at the usual 6 am. Passengers are requested to cooperate with security personnel and staff of Hyderabad Metro Rail in their efforts towards keeping the metro journey safe,” NVS Reddy on Friday, tweeted. Source

Twin reservoirs in Hyderabad reach FTL, two gates lifted
With the city and its outskirts witnessing moderate to heavy rainfall in the past few days, the twin reservoirs of Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar have received copious inflows. As a result, the water levels in both these reservoirs have reached their respective Full Tank Level (FTL). Following this, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has kept open two gates each of Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar and is monitoring the water levels. On Friday, the water level at Himayat Sagar reached its FTL of 1,763.50 feet and the water body is receiving 1,800 cusecs of inflows and the outflow was recorded at 2,060 cusecs. Delhi Excise Policy scam: 35 locations across country raided; Hyderabad on list
New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids in 35 locations in three states in connection with Delhi’s Excise Policy Scam. According to ED sources, the raids that started early Friday morning are underway in Delhi, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. It was during the interrogation of Sameer Mahendru, an accused in the central agency’s custody, that they found out Punjab and Andhra Pradesh connections in the case. More teams in Hyderabad are carrying out raids on locations of a few manufacturers and businessmen directly or indirectly involved in the scam. Mahendru was earlier placed under arrest by the ED. BRS to commence activities in Delhi from rented building
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), the new name adopted by Telangana’s ruling party Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), will commence its activities in New Delhi from a rented premises. Hyderabad: Two interstate drug peddlers held; 1300 kgs of Ganja seized
