This Hyderabad artist is giving voice to voiceless through leather art
Hyderabad: Art holds a unique space for stirring civic consciousness and becoming the voice of the voiceless. Influenced by his background and the discrimination he faced as a Dalit, artist Madhukar Mucharla’s medium and the portrayal of his art hugely reflects the socio-cultural issues of the marginalised communities. The artist is currently displaying his artworks at ‘Triloka’ expo at Shrishti Art Gallery at Jubilee hills along with Karnataka based artist, Rohan Vinod Anvekar and Kolkata based artist Jayeeta Chatterjee. Hyderabad: Artist Srikanth Babu exhibits his works at State Art Gallery
Hyderabad: When artists with artistic hearts give form to their ideas and paint a picture, it becomes a miracle. An exhibition of works of art created by eminent painters of the twin cities is currently being hosted at the State Art Gallery, Madhapur. Now apply for Police Clearance Certificate from POPSKs across India
Hyderabad: The Ministry of External Affairs, through a press release on Monday said that, from now on public can apply for Police Clearance Certificate at all the online Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) across the country from Wednesday. The action taken by the Ministry in extending this PCC application facility to POPSKs, would help Indian citizens seeking employment abroad, going for education purpose, long term visa, emigration etc. This step would significantly add to the availability of PCC appointments slots, and at an earlier date, the release added.

Heavy rains lash several parts of Hyderabad on Monday; IMD issues yellow alert
Hyderabad: Heavy rains accompanied by thunder lashed several parts of Hyderabad on Monday evening, bringing down the temperatures and inundating low-lying areas and busy thoroughfares. The torrential rain impacted the commuter traffic, as roads at vital junctions in Hyderabad came under sheets of rainwater. Huge traffic gridlocks were reported along several stretches including Begumpet-Punjagutta, Secunderabad, Banjara Hills and main roads in Madhapur and Rajendranagar area. Tata Motors launches three pickup vehicles in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Commercial vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors launched pickup vehicles Yodha 2.0, Intra V20 bi-fuel and Intra V50 on Monday in Hyderabad. These cater to the logistics needs of agriculture, poultry and dairy, FMCG, e-commerce and logistics sectors. Tata Motors delivered 750 vehicles to customers across the country. “The new vehicles offer high payload capacity, large deck length, high power and long range with safety and comfort features,” said Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors. The Yodha is also available in 1200, 1500 and 1700kg rated payload options while Intra V50 offers 1500kg rated payload capacity.
